Ashby radio will be returning to the airwaves from Saturday April 19th for 4 weeks. The station which is hoping to secure a full time licence later this year will be "local and live on 97.5". The Fm frequency will compliment the on line service which the station is currently operating.

Morning show presenter Alister Wheeldon said "This broadcast will see a tremendous amount of local content from the Ashby community. My show will be covering all aspects of culture and leisure within the town through various interviews and promotions. Local doctors will be coming into discuss local health concerns. In addition we will be providing free legal advice and guidelines to financial investment from local solicitors and independent financial advisors. "

The station has gathered together some very talented presenters who will be entertaining the town with specialist music shows including Rock, Country and Dance shows. All this will compliment a daily and diverse selection of music from the last 50 years.
