When you were a child what was your dream job?
Now I'm not sure if you'd class this as a dream job, but a job I wanted to do as a child was to be a block-paver. It all stemmed from watching some men bloc-pave an area where I was waiting for the school bus. Who knows how I managed to work for a University.
How did you get into presenting?
Whilst doing some research at work, I was interviewing students on what they did in their car (nothing dodgy!). One girl was telling me she listens back to her radio shows that she does on student radio. After that, I joined the station and the rest is history.
What's the best thing about working on Ashby Radio?
Getting to play the very finest dance music to the people and the place where I grew up.
Do you have a nick name?
Nope - never really have. Open to GOOD suggestions...
Have you got any pets?
No, but would love a sausage dog ;-)
What music are you listening to at the minute?
All the latest dance music ...of course!
Also, High Contrasts latest album and a UK hip-hop artist called Akala - check him out if you can, he's good!
Tell us an unusual fact about yourself?
I have a punch bag called Derrick - this is true!
Most embarrassing moment on air?
I have quite a few, but the one that stands out the most has to be when I was interviewing a dj/producer on my show who was...shall we say NOT straight, and he continued to make passes at me whilst on air interviewing him, I've still not recovered.
Favourite food?
Has to be Mexican, but nothing too spicy
Favourite drink?
Whisky and lemonade and very strong larger - anything with a good twang to it.
Favourite TV show/Film?
Growing up in the 80's there can only be one film(s) Rocky. I still watch them all today and love them as much.
When are you on air?
Whilst we are online you can catch me Thursday nights from 7 - 10pm playing the latest dance music. When we're back on FM I will on Saturday night from 7 - 10pm. Check out the website to find out when we're back on FM.

Where do I start.... Well, I know Dave strokes Jim's head whilst they are on air to sooth him. Sam and Darren have twin hair - watch them on the webcam their hair must have been separated at birth.
